DREAM THEATER: Detroit Show Cancelled
March 20, 2006DREAM THEATER have been forced to cancel tonight's (March 20) show in Detroit, Michigan. "James [LaBrie, vocals] is not feeling well and we fear that by doing a fourth show in a row, he'll push himself over the edge and endanger the remaining shows on the tour (and most importantly, the DVD shoot in New York City in two weeks)," the band write on their web site.
"We are truly sorry to disappoint all of our great fans in Detroit and to have gotten their hopes up (as we only confirmed this show a few weeks ago). We had hoped to pull off four in a row (which we normally never do on an 'Evening With' tour),but it doesn't seem meant to be this time...
"The local promoter will announce details on refunds soon…"
DREAM THEATER are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "Octavarium", which came out in June 2005.
